Bob’s Train Box: Episode 11

Very informative, don’t let Larry “old lare” from Tenneesee intimidate you Bob, what good is having a sense of humor if you can’t spread it around, looking forward to the rabbit ears, or you guy’s in Wisconsin haven’t converted to the digital box yet?

Rabbit ears would be fine and acceptable, even you in a whole bunny suit would be cool, just please no more Pierre, ever! thanks much

Hey Bob,

Another great episode, but I must confess that I like the humor much better than the humor-free or humor-light edition. Keep up the good work!

David

Bob’s Train Box is always entertaining, Bob being comical adds to it. Reviews are informative and to the point. Thanks CTT. What do you get when you cross a Leprechaun and an Easter Bunny ?

Nice job, Bob. I look forward to these in the news letter. P.S. A scenery or modeling tip would be nice.

Great show! Lots of Info. in 4:44 Min. A little humer is great to. Keep up the good work.

Another great BTB…just can’t wait for the bunny ears…
Will the Atlas O GP7 be in the magazine as a evaluation piece? I have run a GP38 (?) Atlas O and was not satified with the pre-programmed horn. Does the GP7 have better sounds than the 38?
Thanks!

Love Bob’s train box, very informative.

Since the magazine only comes 9 times a year - it’s great to have some additional material online to fill the in-between-issue times. Anxious to see more of Roger Carp’s new Focus articles.
Keep it coming!

Great job, Bob, but bring back the humor. Liked your comments on the Atlas GP-7, it does have a lot more accurate detail than the other you mentioned. Keep up the good work.

Hi Bob,

I really enjoy the Train Box. I would enjoy it a lot more if the lighting was better. I can,t speak for everyone of course but on my monitor it appears too dark. Most items you hold up appear almost as a silhouette. I think a bit more light would help alot. It would also be nice the Train Box was a bit longer. Thanks so much, I look forward to future issues of The Train Box.

Enjoy Bob’s Train Box, great information, looking forward to episode 12

Hey Bob,

Run the train!!

As always, great informative info. but I miss the humor. I ,like most of the other posts injoy a good laugh, and being able to present the information with your own brand of humor is a real plus. My last layout had a number of scenes with my own brand of humor and were always crowd pleasers. Wait till you get a load of the new pike.

Dear Bob,

I look forward to your locomotive reviews. Would it be possible for you to demonstrate these locomotives? It’s always interesting to hear and see them in action and gives me a perspective as to whether to consider buying or not.

Thanks

The very best video presentations regarding our hobby are found on “Bob’s Train Box”.
Thanks Bob!

Dear Bob,

Oops, I did’nt mean to sound critical in my last e-mail re: not running the locomotive. I subsequently found numerous videos in past articles where demonstrations were provided. My bad and I appreciate all the good information.

Thanks

Great job again. If you go back and rerun your first couple of episodes, I think you may see that it was your subtle humor that made the episodes amusing. For example, your rattling of the papers in the unseen shipping box, since we all knew that you really were not actually taking the item out of the box was “knee slappin’ hilarious.” You used to almost totally obscure the “What’s behind Bob item”, almost as a tease. That kind of stuff fits in with your closing “sunny” line.

Regards, Bob

Bob, The reviews were great but, please; BRING BACK THE HUMOR!! Three-rail modeling is sooo serious that a little jocularity is a good thing. I always enjoy your reviews from the “Sunshine State of Wisconsin” out here in “All too dry California”. Thanks again for a great feature of CTT. Take care and keep 'em coming!!
