Bob’s Train Box: Episode 22

Love your tubular track. 3 rail rules. And is more fun.

Three rails rule!

Bob…Good job again!!! I see it is still springtime in Wisconsin.

Next time you can do a sing along:

From the great Atlantic Ocean to the wide Pacific shore
From the green and flowery mountains to the south belt by the shore
She’s mighty tall and handsome, she’s known quite well by all
She’s a modern combination called the Wabash Cannonball

Chorus
Listen to the jingle, the rumble and the roar
As she glides along the woodlands, over hills and by the shore
Hear the mighty rush of the engine, hear the lonesome hobo’s call
Travelling through the jungles on the Wabash Cannonball

Oh the Eastern States are dandy, so the Western people say
From New York to Chicago, and Rock Island by the way
From the hills of Minnesota where the rippling waters fall
No chances to be taken on the Wabash Cannonball

BOB, whats your favorite letter in the alphabet? R?
Great job as always.

Ahhr Bob… nice job!

Great BTB loved the disapearing santa hat. # Rails rule for sure

Once again, I enjoyed the presentation. Great job! On the rating scale, is “1” the best, or is “5” the best? Maybe I checked the wrong box by mistake. I meant the highest rating.

Bob, it’s obvious you have as much fun making the “Train Box” episodes as we all do watching them. Thanks for another great one and for keeping the fun in the hobby. And, oh yes, three-rail will rule forever!! Take care, Gary Caramella

The Subway Car by MTH… in the video when it comes around the corner looks like it is going to roll over. Either this thing is top heavy or Bobs finger got a little pushy on the throttle. I have never seen one operate in real life, so this may be prototypical. I dont know. Perhaps it’s just the angle of the camera taking the shot.

Bob nice job. That bridge looks real sturdy. Send your UPS man to my house OK?

nice job and nice santa hat

Once again Bob comes through with an entertaining and educational video. I never knew that the song came first! I wonder if the Milwaukee Road ever had an interchange with the Wabash?

3 rails rule and there’s always orange and black engines in my basement!

Great job, we appreciate that you have incorporated the running of the item into BTB. However, I get a little queasy when your multi-Franklin priced engines come so close to the edge of your test track. It adds drama and thrills. I’d hate to see a disasterous derailment.

Excellent - Three Rails Rule indeed! Neat bridge especially!

Hey Bob

Thank you for reminding everyone that there were TWO Coney Islands. I spent many many an hour at the one in Cincy to have fun on the rides when I was a kid and for the visual entertainment provided by the local ladies in their short shorts (actually hot pants) when I was older. It brought back pleasant memories! They also had a neat train ride if I remember correctly.

As always - enjoyable and informative … A Win Win if you ask me…

I used the “Friends don’t let friends go HO” as my Facebook status, and my HO friends were all livid. One of them was planning an intervention! I would love to see their faces when they find out that my kids and I will build an N scale/Thomas wooden railway hybrid layout during the Christmas holidays.

Bob, your Train Box is one of the high points on the entire web. Three rails rule!
