Bob’s Train Box: Special Edition Part I

P 70 CARS LOOK GOOD

I’m glad the passenger cars come with 3 rail couplers. I’m going to have to check them out.

Great looking product but unfortunately difficult to get the Lionel people to buy into.

Would like to see a N&W line of these cars. They are just right for my layout.

Very good.

Those passenger cars are excellent. Personally, I’d prefer them to be made longer and closer to scale length. It can’t possibly cost that much more to add a little more plastic to the mold, and it’d be a great alternative to having to buy $125+ passenger cars.

Atlas has really led the way in scale engine and rolling stock detail. As a Steam Era fan for three rail I have been happy to see the new offerings from Atlas that had not been well represented by any other manufacturer before. I have also converted over to the Atlas three rail track system over a period of time. I hope you (Atlas) will keep bringing out these great products. Like many people I have had to cut back on purchases due to the economy. I would save my “allowance” for an Atlas product. I haven’t been disappointed yet.

Bob, I had the opportunity to meet you in person at TCA in York, PA. You look the same as on camera and seem to be just as energetic. Great episode this week - it would be nice to see more interviews with model industry folks in the future. Keep up the good work.

I stumbled across Trainman scale cars one day while looking for another item and at a great price, so I bought several and now thats all I buy!! They are fantastic, I can not wait to purchase some of the passenger cars aswell!! Atlas Trainman are the very best today!! Great video segment to Bob!

I enjoy collecting the Atlas O Steam Era Reefers. They really look great with the Atlas Ice House and Icing Platform configuration. I keep my overflow reefers displayed on shelving from Glen Snyder Display Systems. I would like to hear Jim Weaver’s comments relevant to future releases from both Atlas as well as the authorized special runs. I have found www.toytrains1.com/atlas_reefers.htm to be an excellent reference on Atlas reefers.

great interview very interesting love ctt.
