im looking to install body mounted couplers on con cor amtrak ph 2 cars what should i use? thanks
Personally, I would use the Kadee #148 “whisker” coupler. It has the centering spring incorporated into its design, making the old style brass spring unnecessary.
These are the Superliner cars that you’re talking about, yes?
I’d recommend using these coupler mount pads from Jay Bee, which in my experience make body mounting couplers a whole lot easier.
