Book question

I’m looking for books that are educational, informative and otherwise just pleasant to read about our hobby. Does anyone own the book “The HO Model Railroading Handbook” by Robert Schleicher? If so, is it a good book to purchase? It’s listed as having 227 pages with full illustrations.

There’s a lot of good buzz about Sam Posey’s “Playing with Trains” that recently came out. It’s on my Amazon wish list in the hopes that my lovely bride will get it for me for my birthday next month. [:D]

I have the book in question, though when it first came out in1979,it was a orange colored book, titled " TYCO Model Railroad Manual ". Now the cover is green, but It is a very good book, has alot of pix on the TYCO products, though it all can be different with all of the other manufacturers. it has a few track plans, among other useful info. I would highly get it .
