While railfanning CSX’s River Line in Ulster County, NY, I picked up a piece of rail that’s about 1/8 of an inch thick. I want to try making a bookend out of it but don’t know how to attach it to a base. Any ideas?
How about ‘no more nails’. They advertise that as sticking anything to anything, should work as the weight of the rail will be pressing down on the base.
