Hi, I have a small question for the more informed members of this forum. Are there any books out there that detail the history of the Conrail takeover by NS and CSX. I have read “The Men Who Loved Trains”, but I am hoping to locate a book that primarily focuses on and details just the days and hours leading up to day 1, and the critical days that followed when the two railroads were struggling to make sense of the chaos.
