I plan to build an HO-Scale layout depicting the B&M during the steam to deisel transition. Does anyine know of any good reference matial covering this era? I am also planning on trying to incorporate part of Lowell, MA with its many brick mills and canals. I already have a coule of B&M books and several issues of teh B&M Historical Society’s magazine, but I need more info than what is contained in those publications.
You might want to consider checking out the various town historical societies of those places in which you’re interested (like, say, the Lowell Historical Society: http://ecommunity.uml.edu/lhs/).
A visit to the area wouldn’t hurt, either.
