Good review. Please, what is the SKU number for these locomotives?

All four of the C&O locomotives were sold to Cliffs Robe River Iron Associates and were used on their line from Cape Lambert to Pannawonica in Western Australia.
They had road numbers 9417 to 9420 on the Robe River line and were painted yellow and black.
One was wrecked and the other three were rebuilt as GE Dash8 - 40C using the original frame and trucks. This could be where the misinformation about only three units going to Australia originated.

that is a great looking loco but at $270, almost a week pay. Too rich for my blood. Even at $169 is a lot to pay. What happened to nice looking reasionably priced equipment. Seems like it has gone the way of the Dodo bird. Kinda sad as the prices that are being charged for many locos is way beyond my means. Good thing I have several in boxes waiting to be built. Heh Heh Heh

Great Job! A nice looking, sounding and running locomotive that will find a home with many C&O fans.
