Boxes and Liners for Lionel No. 2383 AA Units

Hello,

Does anyone know whether the original post war boxes for the Lionel No. 2383P & No. 2383T came with liners that you would put the trains in before sliding them into their boxes?

Hi, These engines were wrapped in a thin tissue paper with some type of Lionel logo or just the words Lionel in small print on it. Can’t remember exactly about the print, but the tissue type paper is a definate. redneckrebel441
