Hi,
I have a HOn3 Sunset Models Prestige series C-16 locomotive, #278, which I am trying
to get into an operating condition. It runs perfectly on straight track, but
when it hits a curve the chassis shorts out.
It seems that when the lead drive axle hits a curve with the isolated wheel on
the outside of the curve, this wheel is pushed as close to the chassis as it can
get, and this is when the short occurs. I have examined the model closely, and
cannot seem to find anywhere that the isolated wheel rim could be contacting the
chassis, and the chassis is painted. Has anyone else seen a problem like this?
Thanks in advance,
tbdanny
