Too modern for me, I’d rather they reissued the GP35 in different paint schemes (Rio Grande) or bought out another Rio Grande SD45 (not that they are likely to now that P2K are doing them, though I prefer the Kato version).
I think Kato are more interested in N scale at the moment.

I was dreading having to use another Athearn unit, as the drive trains were awful. The Kato units I have run like silk, but the Athearns all need upgraded worm gears. [:(!]

IF YOU HUNT IN THE INTERNET SOME DEALERS STILL HAVE N GAUGE DASH 9’S FROM THE 1996 KATO PRODUCTION. THEY HAVE RAPIDO COUPLERS, BUT THESE EASILY CHANGED IF NEEDED.
