Brian says HI.

Tonight we had a great time visiting with Brian and Naomi and their kids.

They say HI to all the GRYs forum buds.
Kids had fun feeding the fish.

And Brian did a great job running trains even after all the rain we have had this week so far.

Carrie and I are very greatful they were willing to stop by, I think they are our first out of country visitors. Canada. COOOL.
.
I think now he plans to lay track at home real soon[;)]

Hey everyone,
Just stopped here to say “HI”!!! Today we are in Minneapolis at Larry’s (OLD DAD) place. Having a great time on our holidays. Marty and his family are wonderfull people who made us feel very welcome. Nice to have a home cooked meal instead of all that restaurant food! Got to run a long mainline consist on his railway…awesome. After Marty’s place we headed to the twin cities to meet up with Larry and his wife again. That is where we will be for a bit yet. Going to an open house on Saturday one of the local club members are having here. Trains, trains, trains and more trains…that’s our holiday this year. Even rode the Georgetown Loop while at Denver. Awesome railway!!! Well time to let Larry have his computer back now. Will post as soon as we get home. Take care everyone. Later eh…Brian.

Brian, wonderful to here from you! I am so envious, I hope some day to “make the rounds” as it were. Good luch and Godspeed…later eh! Capt Carrales

Hi all,
Well Brian, Naomi & their two wonderfully well behaved children are on their way home this morning. We all had a great time during the visit.
On Friday I spent the day at the Mall Of America with Brian and his family. We enjoyed several of the rides at “Camp Snoopy” the indoor amusement park in the center court of the mall.
Later my wife Susie and daughter Sarah joined us for dinner at a “fifties” style resturant near our home.
On Saturday morning we all got together to visit and run a few trains around our “Dutch Valley Narrow Gauge” railway. Later we drove over to the East side of the twin cities for an open house one of our club members was hosting.

We had a great time and parted company after the open house with Brian and family heading back to the Mall Of America for one last fling before going home on Sunday.

OLD DAD
