The low RR bridge ( NS ex CR/EL/DL&W )over Front ST in Binghamton NY claimed its 3rd truck of the year recently and got me thinking, I’ve seen layouts with fire and car wreck scenes but I wonder if any one has ever modeled a truck stuck under a bridge?
Think I have seen one here on the forums. One of the modules on a club layout set up at local shows has a tractor trailer unit that had dropped through a bridge. Traffic will be tied up for a long time, as the truck will not only have to be removed, but the bridge repaired. Not many of them done, so would look pretty neat.

Actually, that would/does make a very interesting scene. I’ll have to keep that in mind for my next layout, if it has a bridge scene.
Instead of a permanent scene, I think it would be neat to make it temporary and use it only every once in a while. It would add some interest to an operating session.

Of course, multicar pileups are fun to recreate too, especially if you’re a fan of the TV show “CHiPs”.
