Bridge over Shade Creek

I had the opportunity this past weekend to construct a proper bridge over Shade Creek on my Tuscarora Railroad.

Great looking one at that! Was it from scratch or a kit, plans? Looks very nice!!! Thank you for showing it.

Beautiful! Nice work, as usual!

The Howe truss bridge is a kit from Kamloops Junction. It was a kit that I had done a review of a few years back (though not yet in the on-line archives). The low trestle leading up to it is scratchbuilt, using “common” trestle construction techniques.

Nice work, Kevin. Sorry it’s not online. Most likely, that review was either A) not digital or B) the photo somehow was corrupt/not usable.

I built a bridge that resembels yours from a aristo kit, it lasted 10 years till the dog ate it.

Wow! Fantastic bridge.

Nice. It almost lookes like the old wherehouser brige over washout creek in the upper snoqualmie Valley.
