My plan is to get a Freightliner Cl.66 (in green and yellow) as well as a Chicago and North Western E8 (in green and yellow) on the assumption that the Cross-Atlantic Tunnel has been built with Freightliner and Chicago & Western operating double-headed through freight trains…

Accucraft had some other british locos proposed too, a 37 and a 08, but have been a bit quiet, I’ll see if they have anything on their stand at the national show in Birmingham in 2 weeks.

When do we get an affordable plastic Dean Single 4-2-2, or a Metropolitan Rw 0-4-4, or a Jumbo. I could go on and on and on, so many great loco’s built in the 19th and early 20th century, and we get another dismal, …Phooeey!
And dont none of you dare say …"Oh but Aster built one, or Accucraft has that one…I said AFFORDABLE. Yer all beyond nuts if ya think I’m spending $2.5K on a loco!

Have to admit a Metropolitan Rly loco WITH full condensing gear and original windowless padded cell coaches would be interesting or a couple of Metropolitan freight wagons yes they once moved freight as well

Metro tank yes, Dean Single no- GW and only 2 wheels driving? - still it’d keep the rails where it was standing nice and shiny![}:)] Seen a nice S&D 2-4-0 built on a playmobil chassis, couldn’t believe he’d used that chassis but a beautiful model.
The Gauge 1 Association would fall apart if there were affordable engines!
If you like old steam see if you can find a company called, i think, London Road models they do a couple of really nice LNWR locos, kits but sensible prices.
