Looks like Broadway have used the boiler from their heavy USRA mike. Perhps it would be cheaper and more accurate for Erie fans to buy a seond hand Rivarossi heavy pacific with the six wheel tender and put a sound unit in that?
You did not state the price.
A nice looking engine with decent sound, although I’m not too thrilled with the whistle sound (could have been in the recording). A shame that it does not replecate the Erie engine, but might do for someother road as a not necessarily USRA engine.
Where can I get passenger cars like the one shown in the video?
73" drivers under the heavy USRA boiler make a real good match for a MoPac 6445 class. Change the trailing truck to a Delta type, relocate the turbo and you are about there.
The sound is much improved over the 2-8-2.
I LOVE IT EXCEPT FOR PROGRAMING THE ENGINE NUMBERS INSTEAD OF THE 03 IT COMES WITH. I CAN’T GET IT TO CHENGE WITH MY DIGITRAXX SYSTEM.
