Broadway limited Precision Craft Models - Reading T1 4-8-4, HO

Whats the general concensus of the Broadway limited Precision Craft Models - Reading T1 4-8-4, HO How do you like it looking to get one.

A friend has one. I am a Reading modeler and its a very nice engine.

Bought one, liked it so much I just got another one. Modeling RDG and LV. looks great on the layout. seems to pull well also. Don’t have a lot of hours on either one so can’t speak to reliability.

Mine ran very well and I was pleased with it. I sold mine and re-invested the money into newer power as I sometimes do.

I have the T1.Bought the undecorated version, lettered it for NYC and replaced the Qsi with a Tsunami. It’s one of (If not the best) running and sounding steamers that I own out of about 40…brass,plastic.bli,athern,bowser,marklin.They set a new benchmark IMHO.

Great loco, runs very well. Wasn’t cheap (I’ve managed to buy every other loco I own for $40 or so), but I do not regret spending the money.

Runs well, looks nice but it’s hardly comparable in detail to my brass version. I bought the PCM model largely because of its availability in the Freedom Train paint scheme, more or less as a memento, since the train stopped in my small town awaiting track clearance around NYC and I had a chance to talk with the engine crew and my oldest son (then a boy of 5) to climb up in the cab for a moment or two.
