I´m building a Tichy Train Brownhoist crane. Does anybody know which colors are apropiate for this model? Has anybody seen the prototype? Thanks

and Search the Web for Brownhoist crane colors. I found quite a few links. Take your time and check the links. You will find actual photos, peoples opinions, model manufactures colors. This will give you some experience at search the 'Net.

Black is always a good choice. I used straight boxcar red for the tender - a car I put together from a Scotia Scale Models kit back in the 80s.

It used to run for exibit purposes at Mid-Continent, but it hasn’t run for a while. I was told that it still works, but the rigging is another story…
