BS

Caught this unit on Cajon last weekend. Somebody at BNSF has a sense of humor.

The picture didn’t show up

Must be they don’t allow links from other pages. If you quote the message, then cut and paste the url (between the ‘img’ tags) to the address line in your browser, you’ll see the picture.

Quite amusing…

Now when I click on the link and do all that, it says it is an invalid entry.

Sorry Chad, must be a bad URL.

Richard

no luck here either

Working now

when I first saw the topic ID I thought did BNSF and NS merged to create BS?

FM will love it!

OK guys, here’s the deal. I took my film to Walgreens to get developed. The idiot running the CD machine ran the negs up-side -down. When I flipped all the pictures the program changed the name and it had unacceptable syntax. So I had to re upload the picture with a new name. It took me a few minuets to do all that. So because the idiot at Walgreens screwed up I had to waste about an hour fixing it.

Maybe BNSF sold that unit to the Birmingham Southern, and it was seen en route to its new owner [;)].
That is pretty funny [(-D][(-D][(-D].

That is awefully good, thanks for sharing it!!

Noah

nice pic thanks for sharing.

Well, that’s one major western railroad cut down to size!

The other one was, too: last night, I humped one of our newest box cars, with the word “Yours” neatly lettered after our reporting marks.

I’d just as soon they left it in ATSF warbonnet, but it sure is funny.

Does this also indicate a certain out-of-touch quality with BNSF middle management?

That’s funny Carl. Too bad you didn’t get a picture.[8D]

You get what you pay for[:)]

I love it! GEs are easily the king of hood door interchangability, resulting in CCX ,SSX and SXC on the units! Leading a wag I know to compliment CSX for employing dyslexics![;)] In the old days Alcos with 539 engines had mixed up hood doors galore. Samples included “Nev Haavn” [:o)]on an S2! It achieved immortality in the pages of TRAINS many years ago! Perhaps its still in the files.[?]

I could not find that shot on rrpicturearchives.net. But anyways, that is pretty funny. How did they do that, what were they doing?

Richard

Oh, boy, the S (as in BS) is likely to really hit the fan if somebody in management sees this one!

Ah…there’s my laugh of the day…nice…just as good as that UP covered hopper that said “We Will Deliver” and some employee wrote “pay-cuts”.

Maybe they were repatching it, and got tired?
