All of the photos I’ve seen of Budd RDCs show them either running alone or with other RDCs I seem to remember from old Budd ads that the RDC was designed to be able to pull other coaches too, but I remember reading somewhere (can’t quite remember where) that when railroads attempted this it overloaded the RDCs.
Anyone know anything else regarding this?

As there is moderately low bhp on the prototype RDCs I think I’m going to keep mine running back to back in two to three unit rakes as I have been.
