Build the Milwaukee Road Beer Line part 5

great idea and very good video

i really love this layout

I like the concept of beer line I think it would get to a video series on the Dream Plan Build Videos
I think you guys are doing a great job Keep up the good work
And thank you for all the good information for all the raidroaders out there

As a Milwaukee Road modeler, I’m happy to see a project layout anywhere for the road. I tend to model rural towns, but this project does have me thinking that urban modelling might be fun too.

Very good video I really enjoyed watching how the beer line was constructed

I love this series…it combines helpful tips with nice views of the layout and I always get new ideas when I revisit the videos.

That scale track caught my eye in the video, and I’m wondering how you would build such a section of track.

I like the whole idea. I plan to build a simular layout because I have taken apart my existing layout. I plan to build it slightly larger and on two levels. It has been a long time since I built a layout and I wish there was more information in the articlesl. Thank you for the good job.

This has got to be my favorite layout that MR has done in the past 5 years. Fantastic concept; a sectional layout that can be reconfigured. The premise of servicing the breweries plus the operation scheme, is very inspiring to even veteran modelers, like myself. The modeling you all did looks absolutely great! This design would make a great foundation for a home layout that travels to shows to be part of a larger modular layout. My only complaint, I wanted longer videos just so I could admire the layout more. I hope there are more semi-sectional project layouts in the future.

Inspired,

Nice plan. I liked that the layout could support different types of trains from and between yards. In general the plan conveys a strong sense of why the railroad exists and how it relates to those it serves. Well done.

Is there a video the provides an overview of the layout other than this particular one on an operating session?
