Okay, so here is the situation. I have a sunrise feed mill and an E.C. Crosby Coal structures on my layout. Now, on the sign for Crosby Coal, it says coal and grain. I was wondering, could i get some metal-siding buildings, put them inbetween the two buildings, and call it the office of both buildings, with both being run by E.C. Crosby?
Why not? Sounds like a good plan to me.
It would depend on your era and possibly your region. Prior to WW2, coal was used in many areas as a home heating fuel, and in farming areas it would be common to find a coal and feed dealer. After WW2, many homes shifted to oil or gas to heat for the convenience.
