I think you should know, there are crooks and vagabonds in your train room

Well done Becky! I had some great chuckles over that one.

I wonder if I should call this the Post Office Display since it has some of my (at one time) Most Wanted items.

There are two Vagabonds: The well known Blue Vagabond 1225

And facing it is the less common black 1225 sometimes known as the Black
Vagabond.

I have the passenger cars that came with this in a “Syndicate Special” but they are currently stored somewhere. Once I find them I will post them here.

As far as Crooks in my train room… I actually have Crooks from coast to coast since they are facing an enameled two-tone blue #3113 manufactured by American Flyer having 4 # 3113 brass tags that indicate it is a “Nation Wide Lines” engine marketed through J.C. Penney.

Its the only piece of Nation Wide Lines equipment that I have (for now).

Now THAT’S funny! California is the 31st state and then there’s the original 13 on the east coast! Nation wide indeed!

I received the dual gauge track to use for the outer oval on my layout.

Now I can get on with working on the railroad.

We get enough grief having 3 rails and you want to go and add 2 more?

I just never knew anything like this existed!

Oh yeah, one of our club members who’s into Pre-War Tinplate, both O and Standard Gauge, bought a bunch of it. Trust me, that trackage is even more impressive in person! It’s so well-built you could run REAL trains on it! :open_mouth:

If I recall correctly you can make your own with O42 but I’m not sure if the length is right without cutting the standard gauge rail ends.

The track components were ordered from USA Track and they are fabulous. A friend assembled them for me because The Creator gave me 10 thumbs. It does require cutting and fitting. I think that someone has made 5 rail track (perhaps Gargraves?) but only straight sections.

I have two ovals with the outer oval being dual gauge. I wanted the ability to run more than 1 O gauge train at a time, and didn’t want to build up. At least not yet. I still have some preparation work to do before I lay track.

GarGraves makes dual gauge track for O and Standard gauge. It is made only as flex track.

That is really unusual track, like others I’ve never seen it either.
Did anyone ever make track like that for both Lionel & American Flyer (my layout).
I realize the transformers to tracks wiring would be different, but doable. I could add another loop to run my limited Lionel stuff.

I recommend a visit to www.gargraves.com. They make a 4 rail track that runs O gauge and S gauge. They also make a 3 rail track that runs both G gauge and S gauge. These are all 39" flex track.

That sounds great!
