Burbank Airport to help fund new Metrolink station
This will have a significant favorable impact for residents of the Antelope Valley who wish to use Burbank Airport, and save them signifacant travel time of the inconvenience of having to call for a shuttle service at downtown Burbank. however, Metrolink should not abandon the downtown station in Burbank either. Maybe a few selected trains could stop there, at least for those who have work daytime office jobs there. Also, the new Burbank Airport station would place another option on the table for its plans for California’s high speed train service.
