Found this interesting video on the tube about BN’s explosive real estate holding in Washington.
This is a well known bit of railroad lore. It’s always fun to go by the Weyerhauser tree plantings that were planted in the following years. That was, to my knowledge all land BN gave to Weyerhauser.
