And the garbage truck driver didn’t realize that the only way to clear those bridges is to drive faster, much faster.
Just where did the garbage service get this moron?
Granted, it was a dumb move - you won’t get any argument from me. However, in my 40+ years of driving I’ve done a few bonehead things myself. Let him who has never done anything stupid cast the first lug wrench.
@ DAVID STREETER:There are plenty of Gooses around to pick from.
Thanks for the comic relief Vasyl! LMFAO!
David S. I guess you’ve never been to Long Island
Don’t garbage trucks run the same routes constantly? And isn’t being able to read clearance signs part of the job description?
In some states when you take your drivers test and you tell the interviewer you cannot read, they will give the test to you orally
John odom…so true! I have driven 28 years and sometimes…well, you know. The driver could have been new…or maybe he, s a seasoned driver but they put him on a different route. I hit a 13’4" bridge once. During a snowstorm a car slid into the warning sign and it was flattened. Shit happens.
