seems that every C&O Allegheny shown has the tender lettering done in gold lettering anyone know if they were ever done in white lettering?
reason i’m asking is i bought a brass Key Allegheny sometime ago and the original owner had painted it gray and added the white C&O lettering.
While it looks nice i’m a bit put off on the white lettering opposed to the gold and wish to know if it is prototypical or not.
