is there any way oter than kitbashing to get my hands on a non brass model of an ALCo c415? im not in the market to spend $600 on a loco. Have any of the manufactures said anything about making one?

IHC makes one in HO. It has a very smooth and quiet skewed motor, I think it has 8 wheel drive and I’m pretty sure it has 8 wheel pickup.[:D] All it needs is some work on detail and for the couplers to be mounted to the frame instead of the trucks.[:D]
