cable car, can they be made to run again?

I have one of the bachman cable cars that was given to me as a gift.
it never did run that well, if it ever ran.
Can they be me remotored so thay can run again?
what about the gandy dancer hand car?
Or are they forever
doomed to never run ??

NorthWest Short Lines (NWSL) sold a repower kit for the CC at one time, check with them

One answer. T’ain’t easy, but it can be done if you can find the parts. I couldn’t find them on walthers website. The only repowering kits I found there are made by Athearn and A-line for repowering Athearn locomotives. That’s the best I can do. Maybe someone else will have more information.
