Hope y’all are doing well. I recently purchased a Bowser Challenger kit. Was wondering where I can get the detail parts for it. I checked CalScale and it look’s like they still produce kits for diesels and those are readily available. Not sure where I could get Challenger parts. Do you guys scratch build them?
The detail kits show up on eBay every few weeks. They sell for about $100.00 when they do.

Precision Scale has a huge selection of detail parts including detailing kits. I’m not sure if they have a kit for the Challenger. The quality of the castings is quite good.

Bowser (English Model Railroad Supplies) bought Cal-Scale and still offers those details, along with some other details that were, in the past, offered by smaller producers.
I have a not-too-recent catalogue from Precision Scale, but as far as I’m aware, they’re still cranking-out loads of detail parts, both in brass and some plastic items, too.
