Recently the citizens of California approved 10 billion dollars for high-speed rail service from San Francisco to southern California The system will have over 800 miles of track connecting all the major metropolitan areas of the state. It looks to become America’s first, truly state-of-the-art high-speed system. Trains will run in the 220+ mph range. LA to San Francisco in 2 and a half hours. Downtown to downtown.
I can hardly wait.
