Here are a few photos of the early stages of building my shelf layout. The ramp is anchored with hinges half way between levels.

Top photo is an overview of the industrial area, which still requires a lot or work to complete. This area will be the sight of a General Mills plant. Another year I will make a steel mill, and eventually, a automotive stamping plant. All these industries will use the same track arrangement.
The middle photo is shot from a lower angle. A lot of detail still needs to be added, not to mention completing the track laying process.
Finally, an overhead view of the Belt Railway of Chicago rail yard, which is located along the adjacent wall to complete the “L” shape. It’s not big, but it will be the focal point of operation.
