I love how the Alcos morph into EMDs and back…C-Liners became FAs…lol. Good watch, though.

Canada or US, 1958 or 2014 and for all the change, the railroad remains the same. Cool video.

Thank you for sharing this film. It has been made in the region and during the era I am modeling. Nice shots of locomotives and cars.

A likeable film, even though the continuity suffers in spots. But hey, it was cold out there when they were filming, so maybe not shooting all the extra scenes needed saved someone from frostbite?

I think we’re still waiting on viable turbine and atomic power, though.

Near the end, were those CN 60’ double-door auto boxcars or just distortion making 50’ cars seem that long?

it seems to me that those are 50’ automobile boxcar as almost every other boxcars are 40’ ones.
