Campbell HO Hamilton's Dinghies Ltd Instructions

At the train show a few months ago in Wheaton, IL I purchased a Campbell #394 without checking for the instructions. It happens after you have been wandering for over an hour looking for deals. If anyone has the instructions I would really appreciate it. On the other hand I’ve got a lot of wood, etc for a lot of scratch building fun.

Even though they have stopped operations, you might try writing to them at this address.

HOseeker.net does have some PDFs for some of the Campbell’s kits - unfortunately, #394 is not among them, but a few of the instructions that are available might provide some clues about how the kit is supposed to go together. As you say, it is a lot of good wood! I put together a Campbell’s dock kit a while back, only losely following the instructions to accomodate the avilable space, and I still have half a box of wood left for future projects.

Thanks for the link. I already checked the site for other items.

My brother had the Campbell kit #396, Norm’s Landing Boat House. It was too big for my layout and my lake-river too small. So I cut the kit 2/3-1/3 and may a house under construction and a marshal’s office (with jail and prisoner).

Thanks. I’ll try that and let you know.

That’s a neat kitbash!!!

My wife uses the Cricut machine for birthday, etc. card and I use it for model building. It’s a poor man’s CNC machine.
