Does anyone know a source of “camper tape” in Europe (if possible in Sweden)?
What brand names and manufacturers might there be for it in Europe?

Sverk, would two-sided sticky foam tape do? I take it that you want some for roadbed? I have found small rolls of two-sided foam tape (sticky on both surfaces) that is a 2.5 cm wide and about 3 mm thick at ‘dollar stores’. If you need more height, just stack two layers.

We call that “supervisor tape” . It’s two faced.
You might try looking in plumbing supply places. I used something very similar to “Camper Tape” to both insulate the joints in foam insulation on the hot water lines in my apartment in Bamberg Germany, and as a roadbed on a small foam N scale portable layout. I found the stuff at a place called OBI, which for those of us in the US is very similar to a Home Depot. What I used was about 5 cm wide and about 3mm thick, but this was in about 1989, and I do not remember a manufacturer. Hope I am being more a help than a hinderance.

Or even Politician tape.
Hi Sverk,
I had the same problem in Canada. Home Depot had suitable tape but it was either too narrow or too wide (as well as quite expensive). I searched for a product called V610 or V615 Cap Tape manufactured by Gaska (http://www.gaska.com) and learned of their Canadian distributor GaskeTech. GaskeTech was able to provide my needs nicely.
I recommend you contact Gaska and query them for a European contact.
BTW - I used 2"x3/8" V615 underneath cork roadbed as described in August 2003 MR & How to Build Realistic Reliable Track. The result is dramatic. The track is VERY quiet. I highly recommend this construction method.

Thanks to you all for the several good suggestions!
Puts me in the ballpark, very well.

Did you try Canadian Tire? That’s where I got mine.
