Can a Cox F3 shell fit on an Athearn Chassis?

I’m trying to help someone with a project. and I would like to know if a Cox F3 shell could go on an athearn frame

I know the Hong Kong made Cox locos were Athearn clones (Cox originally sold assembled Athearn models under its own brand in the early 70s)
