Can anyone tell me what model engine this is, and does anyone make a model of this engine? I would like to get one custome painted. I used to work for this rail road.

Lionelsoni nailed it, this is what the EJ&E roster had to saw about unit #444.

Notes: 444 & 445 were the last two new switchers the EJ&E purchased. They were part of a larger order by USS, with other SW1001s going to Birmingham Southern, Lake Terminal, and Newburgh & South Shore. MU capable with all EJ&E units. 1st: US Steel Leasing. Purchased 3/82 by EJ&E.

Thanks for the ID. I guess I was long gone when these were in use. I worked for the J in 1966. Anyone know what switcher models were in use then? How about #303?

Williams by Bachmann makes a NW-2 that is simular to it. The are reasonable and good runners.
