Can no longer read CVs with NCE PowerCab

I finally got rolling on the JMRI thing i ended up having to install version 4.24 as this was the newest version my old apple could support with its low score limitations on the java side of things. It seems that decoder-pro is up and running i selected the NCE to USB interphase and had a choice of two different serial / Bluetooth options i chose the first one being told i could change things later if need be. I selected “+new loco” and asked it to read from the decoder on the track and it couldn’t. So i tried a couple other locos and it couldent red any of them. I then disconnected the computer and tried to read several decoders with the throttle unit that had been working fine yesterday and now none of my locos will respond with a readable CV.

Any ideas on what i might of done to seeming destroy my ability to communicate with my layout even just with the wired hand held throttle?

Don’t forget to check everything again and again dummy, :stuck_out_tongue:

So this is how i had my power panel hooked into the layout. Notice i had the little black track power wires only half hooked up. I made that little kinda adapter to quickly move from powering the programming track to the main layout power. To make sure i didn’t make that mistake that you all talked about.
