I bought Micro-Trains’ coupler assembly fixture (part #988), but I seem to have lost the manual. I haven’t even built a coupler yet, so I have no idea how to use it! If anyone here has it…could you scan the manual sheet and post it and/or email it to me? It would be greatly appreciated…
i have that assembly jig and i don’t like it. sorry but i no longer have the instructions for it. i only use micro trains assembled couplers on my locomotives and trucks with assembled couplers on my cars. it is just too difficult for me to assemble those tiny parts. i use kaydee’s on my ho equipment that i assemble myself but the n is too small. i’ve lost too many of the centering springs and also impaled the trip pins into my fingers during assembly.
Unfortunately, my train stuff is still packed up from a recent move. It might be worth your while to contact Micro-Trains and see if they can send you a new instruction sheet.
