Seems like I am stuck logged in?
Not really a big deal…I havn’t logged off in yrs. and You won’t see My Avatar in users online either.
Take Care! [:D]
The Shadow…
Hello All,
It’s been that way for me for months, along with the PM function not working as well.
Mabey the long-awaited “upgrade” will solve these problems.
It could be worse…
You could not be able to log in.
Hope this helps.
I’m a retired physician and years ago, maybe 20, I was logged into the hospital website on my email. Closed the window, went back and I was logged in under someone else’s account. That is wrong in so many ways.
I don’t know how that it could happen and you certainly wouldn’t want that to happen with your bank account or or your broker account. If that happened here and I could fake being Randy Rinker, you would know instantly.
If I could fake being Steve Otte, it would be hilarious, especially in the sometimes politically incorrect (or forum incorrect) Diner. He might not think so.
Other than that, why do I need to log out unless SWMBO is also a member?
Clear cookies from your browser
I use Chrome, and I have the choice to be loged in to any sight I go to. A liitle box pops up and asks me to remember this site, or not.
I can go to the Chrome browser web site, and delete what I want.
Mike.
If I could fake being Steve, we would have a thousand mornings of Spam here at the diner.
Steve come back, come back
Seems that I have entered the twilight zone of the permanently logged in (been going on for a few days). Clearing browsing history and cookies didn’t change anything.
Oh well, could be worse, got bigger things to deal with [:D]

Every few weeks I am prompted to log on (when the cookie expires). I always check the box to keep me signed on so I don’t have to log in each time. What’s going to happen? Someone somehow manages to connect as me and makes posts? Long term other members will recognizes posts that are not my style. And if they somehow manage to extract my password? Good luck with that because the only place I use this one is here.
I don’t think I ever clicked the Logout link under my name, maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t. But I only log in from my own computers, not from some stranger’s or a public one. If you’re really worried, as Byron said, clear your cookies, that will remove the signon one for here and you’ll have to log in again to get back.

You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave … (guitar solo)
Why even bother to check out. I always stay checked in. Can’t afford to miss a moment of fun.
