I know that CP first started using SBU devices at the end of 1989, and CN in 1990. I’ve read that the two lines operated an SBU test train around the mid 80s, but now I can’t find the article.
Anyone know any more about that test train, and better still, have pics? This seems to be a difficult thing to search for, or maybe I’m just not using the right search words.
