if you mean the CASO it was the Canadian tracks of the MIchigan Central(NYC) across sw ontario to buffalo from detroit…the CASO also owned a bridge somewhere over the St. Lawrence…when Conrail got broke up the CASO was a sticky point

The CASO had already been sold by the time that NS and CSX divided Conrail. It was sold jointly to CN and CP, who in turn divided it up. Most is abandoned, except for the Detroit River tunnels and a few short bits and pieces, neither CN nor CP wanted it as a through route, but there are some industries around St. Thomas.
