Too bad this program was not going on when I went to mtu. I would have gone into it instead of geology.

At least the Soo was still somewhat active when I was there. I remember going down and watching the Soo f7’s head over the lift bridge.

Very laudable action by CN.

@Peter

I’m a student at Michigan Tech in the Railroad Club. We’re very fortunate to have CN working so closely with us, and without them (and the club), I wouldn’t have been able to visit all of these rail facilities. It’s too bad the Soo line is gone, I know I would have loved to have seen that around. The yard was down near the Super 8, correct?

Also, not sure if you know, the Mineral Range will be serving Rio Tinto’s new Copper and Nickel mine near Humboldt by Marquette.

very cool to see this taking place in my home state!
