Horses? Wasn’t there some sabre-rattling earlier this year about Bill Ackman and Pershing Square maybe going for a takeover of CSX in the same way they took CP a few years ago? One almost has to wonder if the recent cuts at Erwin, TN and Corbin, KY by CSX were done to drive the stock price up and make CSX a more difficult if not expensive takeover target.
