We, in Shelby, MT enjoyed a few years of Canpotex trains passing thru. Monsters, they be! Unfortunately, BNSF didn’t provide a direct connection wye and all trains had to reverse, which included Distrubuted Power. Very time-consuming. A simple wye leg, from our Sweetgrass Sub would have obviated that. Shareholder (BNSF) me never understood the logic. Uncle Pete, and CPR, ate our lunch! Well, our HQ is in Texas. What do they know, except ‘pulled pork’?
