I have a 6-29808 CC dump car on a o-27 gage track using remote unloader 6-12746. Track and unloader work fine for the Log Unloader but for the CC car it will not dump… The pin will rise about a 1/4 inch when I raise the plate but when the plate is down it does not seem to have the power to raise it up.

I have a Christmas Present Dump car, and had sort of the same problems…It wouldn’t work on Fastrack. The instructions advise the use of a UCS to operate the car.
Upon further inspection, the pick-up shoes on the car are too high to contact the control rails.

Kurt, would you say the sliding shoes are shorter or just don’t hang down as far as the original postwar versions? I thought the bar end trucks they are now useing are very similar to the postwar variety. Could the shoes be dimensionally correct but just not have spring pressure from the copper spring or some flashing causing them to bind.
