Can't Wait

Sorry guys: Not adding any value with this post, just got a great deal online for 8 Peco turnouts and saved $80. Can’t wait to get these babies and start getting them ready for the layout. I’m 43, had a rally crappy day at work today, yet I feel like a kid again. Thanks for the info and info CM and David. Went with the Electrofrogs.

So, don’t make us wait! Where did you get the Peco’s?

Tomorrow is my 59th, and I’m going to my LHS to buy Peco stuff as my celebration. I feel like a kid whenever I’ve got trains in my hands.

Hey Mr. Beasley. Bought them from Sharper Trains on ebay. Price is great per TO, included shipping for all 8 units, only $8. Now comes the suspense. When will it ship? Will it arrive before a month goes by? Will it arrive unharmed? Will the items I receive be the ones I ordered? Will have to let you. Anyway, happy brithday to you tomorrow!

I turn 60 next week and like Mr. Beasley (and you) I still feel like a kid. With trains, that feeling never goes away.

Sorry to hear about your bad day a t work. I hope tomorrow is better for you.

Wow $8 that’s really cheap what TO’s did you get? I’ve just ordered large radius code 100 for $14.25 each. I got 10 LH and 10 RH so that’s gunna hurt the credit card!!

Ken.

Code 100? I like code 80, but ok. Yea ebay is a great place to purchase stuff at pretty low prices! Just go into Toy & Hobbies. It will bring up a list with scale types. Just click on it and its smooth sailing from there. If you want cheap buys, arrange the items by lowest price first.

Thanks Fiat, yea better day. Boss gone all day, so I got even. I just meesed around on the internet all day.

I purchased Peco’s code 83 #5 and #6 turnouts, Electrofrogs. Yea, shipping and insurance was cheap, and basically covered what tax would have been in a brick and mortar storefront. I kind of feel guilty by not buying from one of the 2 hobby shops I frequent. But I just couldn’t pass up the prices I saw. In fact, in all the times I have made purchases from them, they never once offered up anything like, “Hey, I’ll take 5% off if you buy from me”. But hey, they don’t owe me anything. I got a family to feed, and more product to buy. If I can save $80, I have to take advantage of it.
