It has been announced that Carl Arendt is terminally ill in hospice as I type this. Someone on another forum contacted his wife to ask about him because there had been no activity on his website for some time. Mrs. Arendt revealed that his condition is grave.
It will be sad to lose another highly active teacher in our hobby. I wish them both as well as possible under their trying circumstances.

Thanks for being such an inspiration to those of us who are limited on space for a layout Carl. Your efforts helped many I’m sure.
this is sad to hear… I recently discovered his site and have viewed it a million times this week. Here is to the best for Carl and his family.
