I have been shopping for cats for my layout. Not the cats that meow, But the ones that dig in the dirt!. I am collecting tham for a quarry or a Catipillar Dealership I am planning to model on my new layout.
Here are a few pics of what I have so far, just thought I would share.

What do you think? Enjoy the hobby as often as you can. Mike
At least thou cats wont do any damage to the layout. Also, you dont have to worry about a litter box. [:D]
(aside to Robby P: BLUE NS logo? Is that a suggestion?)
So, are you the guy who wiped out the Norscott Cat dump trucks from Walmart(six bucks)? Why do they and Walthers charge 21 USD for the same thing anyway? I was collecting a few my self to replicate a scene from exit 30 on I78 in Hamburg PA.
No way! I might have wiped out a lot of the 6 buck Cats from Wally World, But I do not know anything about dump trucks. I guess that is another 4 or 5 more I will need to get. I haven’t even seen the dump trucks. Mike
At least those Cats won’t try to eat the life-like trees.
The Malibu cars are now all sports coupes. There are some new truck tractors from Malibu but I feel they are too big. The Norscot dump trucks seem to be invisible. At 21 dollars versus 6 for the same thing, I get creeped out at the idea that two trucks cost as much as all seven at Wally’s.
My meow kitties seem fairly good with the trains, so far. They haven’t been bad with the Marx O under the Christmas tree.
I am still waiting for a HO scale hoe with a thumb. Anyone know if one has been done yet or is it so limited to BC that chances are slim one will ever get done?
Nice layout btw [tup]
Guess I should give a picture:

I think the models that Walthers and Norscot sell are the better ones than Wal-Mart sells. The ones from Walthers and Norscot are articulated and can be adjusted to many positions. The ones from Wally’s are solid and have very limited positioning.
Fair enough. Still, it would be nice to have two or three dump thruck. Any opinions on the Malibu Semi Cabs? They just look a bit BIG to me. I think I’ll be weathering my CAT collection by bringing them to the area they are working on and playing with them in the mud.
